Parish Council Meeting - 2 June
The next Parish Council meeting will be held on Tuesday 2 June at 7.30pm in the Parish Council Room, Church Road, Shilton. Local residents are welcome to attend, and are able to raise any issues of concern to them with the parish councillors at the start of the meeting. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the village noticeboard for information.
I was co-opted onto Shilton Parish Council in June 2006, elected for the first time in May 2008, and then re-elected in May 2012, as a local parish councillor for Shilton and Barnacle in Warwickshire. Since May 2012, I have been the Chairman of the parish council. This blog is my contribution to informing local people of what one of their parish councillors gets up to on their behalf, as well as trying to shed a bit more light on the world of local councils and politics in the area.
